Frederik Hoffmann oversees the architectural lighting business for the MCI Group globally, from product development to manufacturing and project implementation.  He has been actively involved in the company for over ten years and was instrumental in the development and growth of the solid state lighting activities within MCI, in Europe as well as the Middle-East, and now in North America.  Some of the key accounts he has personally managed have included prominent OEM companies. Frederik’s strong project management skills, his commitment to innovation and his ability to drive large scale projects, have led to the completion of prominent projects such as Terminal Three at the Dubai International Airport.

Rob Hicks, Vice-President of Operations and Marketing 

Rob Hicks is responsible for overseeing daily operations at Mundo, and also plays a key role in marketing and business development team. Rob comes from an entrepreneurial background. Having co-founded and run an Internet business for several years, he knows what it takes to not only keep a business running, but keep it expanding as well. Prior to joining Mundo, Rob worked at FSG Electric in several positions. He has applied the knowledge and experience he gained in his time at FSG to Mundo, helping the company to position itself within the lighting industry and venture into new niche markets. This combined with Rob’s big-picture perspective and drive to keep the business growing has made him instrumental in Mundo’s success up to this point.

Gary Mann brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Mundo Illumination. He has spent the last 25 years working with electrical distributors and manufacturers in senior sales and marketing positions. Gary has held regional, national and global positions with leading companies such as GE Supply and Argo International Corp., including the position of V.P. of Sales for Wiedenbach-Brown Company, a leading national distributor of lighting equipment and services to national accounts in the retail, commercial and hospitality markets. More recently Gary has specialized in solid state lighting while working at The Lighting Science Group and now continues to focus on new technologies, energy efficiency and green lighting solutions.

Andy Beregszaszi has extensive experience in the field of solid state lighting product development and engineering, and helps the company bring forward innovation as we grow. His strengths include research and development, product design and engineering integration, from the LED device level to the finished lighting system, with a focus on innovation and creativity.  Andy has been instrumental in the development of several patents and has held positions with lighting technology companies such as Lamina Lighting, the Lighting Science Group and Eden Park Illumination.

Frank Esser, Export Director

Frank Esser is charged with the support of global organizations within the MCI Group including North America (Mundo Illumination), the highest growth potential for the company, and several countries throughout Europe and North Africa.  He is also responsible for a number of international OEM customer key accounts, and has supported significant accounts, such as Philips Lighting.  Frank's responsibilities in the company have encompassed product management, technical sales support, sales team training and export management.
